There’s no reason to not be humble, because as great as you may be, you can always be greater. – Jarod Kintz
When I became a parent I made it one of my duties to help my girls realize and recognize that while their own self is important, it is also equally important to recognize and respect the rights of others because I wanted them to grow up with strength and respect.
“You come from a long line of strong and independent women so value yourself and others” was the mantra I’m sure they will never forgot. To get what you want in life (your goals and aspirations) you have to be willing to stay focused, make a few sacrifices, fight fair to get it, and once you have achieved it, remain modest, respectful and true to yourself.
Having said that, no one wants to hear you moaning and groaning about goals that you are failing to achieve either. Getting angry and loud feeling entitled and telling anyone and everyone who will listen about how bad it is, is not going to help you get there.
Be the change you want to see in the world. -Mahatma Gandhi
You are 100% responsible for your failure as well as your success. If you are going to blame everyone around you for your failings you will not find real success in life. Just keep going, stop complaining, make your goals burning desires and rather access what you can change about yourself first.
Almost any difficulty will move in the face of honesty. When I am honest I never feel stupid. And when I am honest I am automatically humble. – Hugh Prather
